The Infield, home of the Berkshire Baseball Academy, is an indoor sports training facility located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Owned by local sports enthusiast and coach Mike Massery, The Infield serves the Berkshire County area by offering a versatile space for sports practice, private events, and team activities.

Facilities and Amenities

• Practice Arena: A 5,000-square-foot, fully netted arena with a wood surface, suitable for sports such as soccer, lacrosse, basketball, hockey, pickleball,baseball, volleyball.

• Batting Cages: Three 70-foot cages equipped with pitching machines. Rental rates are $20 for 30 minutes or $40 for one hour. The facility provides balls, pitching screens, and pitching machines, though two people are needed to operate the machines.

• Fitness Area: Features free weights, a bench press, and a squat rack, available for warm-ups before practice. The fitness area is open Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 5:00 pm, with a usage fee of $5.

• Event Space:  Available for parties, private events, and team practices. Tables and chairs provided.

• Private Instruction: Offers personalized coaching in baseball, softball, and soccer, catering to individuals or groups.

• Sports Camps and Workshops: Provides specialized training sessions and camps to enhance athletic skills.

• Leagues: Organizes adult leagues for sports such as soccer and lacrosse, fostering community engagement and healthy competition.

• Birthday Parties: Hosts themed birthday parties, including options like Nerf wars, kickball, and toddler activities, with customizable themes to suit various interests.

Policies

• Cancellation/No-Show Policy: Cancellations must be made at least one day prior to the scheduled appointment to avoid a 50% charge.

• Liability: Participants engage in activities at their own risk.
